Requirements: A minimum of Grade 10 or NQF Level 2 qualification. Driver’s License Code C1 with PDP. Must have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of driving experience. Have sound interpersonal relations skills, and good verbal, and written communication skills. Be able to read and write English. Good understanding of the Batho Pele Principles and Six Key Ministerial Priorities.
Duties: Collect, deliver, and distribute documents. Transport employees and patients to various destinations. Record keeping of utilization of an allocated motor vehicle, e.g., Log sheet and Petrol receipt. The complete trip authority forms all the time. Conduct vehicle inspections before and after the trip. Report vehicle defects timeously. Clean vehicle on a weekly basis and change flat tires. Ensure that the vehicle is always locked after use. Be prepared to carry out duties that would ensure quality service delivery by the hospital to patients. Be prepared to work shifts.
