NQF Level 2 (Grade 10). Three years of laundry work or related experience is required. Should have Communication and Management skills. Knowledge of Disciplinary procedures, Computer literacy will be an added advantage
Duties: Attend to grievance and resolve conflicts. Prepare Performance and Evaluation Reports for staff members. Take care of all administration duties. Monitor attendance by checking attendance registers and leave forms. Ensure that Patient linen is always available, Soiled or dirty linen is collected daily from wards, counted, sorted, recorded on TPH 65, and sent to the Service provider daily. Liaise with the service provider Dunswart laundry for shortages of Linen. Order new linen to replenish the existing stocks of linen, help to conduct with lids are emptied and cleaned. Ensure material is always available and cleaning equipment is functioning and faulty machines are reported for repairs at FMU Department. Attend linen meetings with the service provider. Arrange training for staff as per Performance Management and Development system requirements.
